This Santa Claus is the old-fashioned Father Christmas. Inspired by my love of Christmas and doll-making, each Santa is an OOAK (one of a kind) and has been completely handmade from new and vintage fabrics. His face and arms are hand painted with acrylic paint and finished with a protective matte varnish. Santa's hands and face have also been sculpted and his clothes are made from beautiful antiqued fabrics with shades of burgundy, black and brown.

Hand-crafted with lots of love, care and detail, Santa is 56 cm (22") tall and carries a sack of toys. Standing with support on his wooden stilts and button hip joints, Santa wears a long pom pom hat, black boots, brown trousers, and shirt. His coat is a burgundy textured fabric and his hair and beard has been made from washed North Canterbury, New Zealand sheep's wool. Standing with support or sitting next to your Christmas tree, Santa will become a part of your Christmas tradition to pass down to future generations.

Each Santa doll is unique and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. A piece of art, Santa is for indoor decorative purposes only and is not a toy. Sewn from calico, Santa has been made in a smokeless environment and stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing and fabric remnants.

Storage: Walnut Cottage Art Dolls cannot be washed and their clothes cannot be removed, therefore, it is a good idea to keep Santa away form open sunlight and dust to clean.

Materials: Cotton, synthetic filler, new and vintage fabrics, acrylic paints and hair made with washed sheep’s wool.
